  • Threat detection techniques
  • Perimeter protection with firewalls, IDS and IPS
  • Security monitoring tools and log analysis
  • Endpoint and application protection
  • Incident response procedures

CND v4 Only, or with the SOC and DFIR Course?

CND explains how to defend a network. Our SOC and DFIR course makes you do it: you replay real attacks, write detections in Splunk and Wazuh and handle the incident with evidence. CND preparation can be added so you leave with both the practice and the credential.

Questions About CND v4

What is the CND exam format?

The exam is code 312-38: 100 multiple-choice questions in 4 hours, with a passing score between 60% and 85% depending on the exam form. Details come from EC-Council's CND page, retrieved October 28, 2026. CND is published in versions, so confirm the version your batch teaches.

Who should take CND?

Network and system administrators, IT support engineers and graduates heading for network security or SOC roles. EC-Council asks for fundamental networking knowledge.

CND or CSA first?

CND is the broader, earlier step on network defense. CSA is more focused on SOC operations and expects some work experience unless you attend official training.

Does CND get me a SOC job?

It helps with screening, and it does not replace hands-on SIEM and investigation practice. That practice is the core of the SOC, Splunk, Wazuh and DFIR course.

Who is the CND v4 certification for?

Network administrators; IT support engineers; freshers moving into defensive security; anyone preparing for a SOC role.

What do I need before I start?

Basic computer and networking knowledge helps. Ask admissions about your starting point and whether foundations are worth doing first.

What credential do I receive?

You prepare for EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND). EC-Council issues the certification when you pass the exam.

How much does the CND v4 certification cost?

₹34,000 + 18% GST (₹40,120 in total). The fee includes one EC-Council exam attempt. Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy; an exam voucher cannot be refunded once we have bought it.

Can I take it with one of your courses?

Yes. Our courses build hands-on skill and the certification adds a recognized credential. Admissions confirms the combined price in writing.

Can I attend online?

Yes, in our Ameerpet classroom or live online. Confirm the mode of your batch when you inquire.
