Cyber Security Course with Practical Labs in Hyderabad

Half of every weekday session is hands-on. You build and attack lab environments, investigate alerts in real tools, and finish each course with an assessment on something you have not seen before. Here is exactly what the labs are.

How a Session Is Split

Weekday batches run in four three-hour slots between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM. Each session is 90 minutes of live class followed by 90 minutes of supervised practice, so the lab is where you apply what you were just taught, with a trainer on hand. Weekends are for questions and extra practice.

The Labs in Each Course

  • Application Security: you work with Burp Suite, an Android emulator with ADB, and desktop client tools, and test web applications, APIs, a mobile app and a thick client in the lab.
  • Network and Active Directory: you build a segmented lab with Linux and Windows hosts and a multi-domain Active Directory forest in VirtualBox, then attack it from reconnaissance through privilege escalation and pivoting.
  • SOC Analyst and DFIR: you use Splunk, Wazuh, Sysmon, Sigma, Wireshark, Autopsy, Volatility and a case-management lab to investigate alerts and incidents.

Practice That Is Tested

  • CTF challenges in every course, to practise under time pressure
  • A capstone assessment in each course on an environment you have not seen
  • Assessed written reports, which are the part clients actually read
  • A technical oral exam on your own findings

Online and Classroom

In the Ameerpet classroom you use the lab on site. Online students get live sessions, recordings and virtual labs, taught the same syllabus. The length of lab access for each course is confirmed in writing by admissions before you pay.

What the Labs Do Not Promise

Labs build skill, not guarantees. We do not provide job placement or placement assistance. What you leave with is the ability to do the work and a set of reports you can show. Ask a counselor to show you the lab and the syllabus before you decide, and read the full syllabus.

Fees

Each 6-week, 90-hour course is ₹20,000 + GST. The two-course Offensive Security Track is ₹30,000 + GST. Try 3 to 5 classes free to see the labs for yourself, and see the upcoming batches.

Practice Hours in Numbers

Half of every three-hour session is supervised practice. That is 45 hours of lab work in each 90-hour course, and 90 hours across the two-course track, before the capstones. Each course adds a capstone of 10 to 15 hours on an environment you have not seen.

Questions to Ask Any Institute About Labs

  • Can I see the lab before I pay?
  • Is the lab mine to use after class, and for how long?
  • Does the lab include a realistic network or Active Directory, or only single machines?
  • Who helps when I am stuck during practice?
  • What do I produce from the lab that I can show someone?

You can sit in 3 to 5 real classes free and see ours. The Network and Active Directory lab is built in VirtualBox as part of the first module.

Six Questions to Ask Any Cyber Security Institute

Compare us properly and do not take anyone's word for it. Ask us every one of these, and ask every other institute too.

Who issues the certificate?

An institute completion certificate and an EC-Council certification are different things. Ask which you receive, and whether the exam voucher and any retake are included. Our parent company, BERRY9 IT SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, has been an EC-Council Accredited Training Center since 2015: ask us for the accreditation details.

What exactly is in the fee?

Tax, courseware, lab access, voucher and retakes should all be stated in writing before you pay.

How long do I get lab access?

Hands-on time is what turns a certificate into a skill. Ask for the lab access period and what happens if you miss a session.

Who is teaching me?

Ask for the instructor's name and background, and ask to see an example of graded work.

What is the withdrawal and refund policy?

It should be written down and acknowledged before you pay, not explained verbally afterward.

Do you offer placement?

We do not provide job placement or placement assistance. What we give you is the skill, six graded reports you can show an employer, and interview preparation: resume and LinkedIn review and mock technical interviews. Applying for jobs is up to you, and the hiring decision belongs to the employer.
