Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about our cybersecurity training programs, batches and fees.

Can I try a class before I pay?

Yes. You can attend 3 to 5 real classes of a running batch free before you pay. It is not a special demo lecture: you meet the trainer, use the lab and can talk to current students.

What do I learn on the Offensive Security Track?

Weeks 1 to 6 are application security: web applications, APIs, Android apps and thick-client applications. Weeks 7 to 12 are advanced network and Active Directory penetration testing. Each is a 90-hour course taught 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday. SOC and DFIR is an optional 6-week course at ₹20,000 + GST, sold on its own and the usual starting point for a fresher.

What is the fee?

The Offensive Security Track costs ₹30,000 + 18% GST (₹35,400 in total) for both courses. You can pay for the track in full or in two installments, and the installment schedule is confirmed in writing at enrollment. Each course costs ₹20,000 + GST on its own (₹40,000 + GST for the two track courses bought separately), including the optional SOC and DFIR course. EC-Council certification fees are listed on their own pages.

Can I get a refund?

Cancel before your batch starts and you get your fee back, less a ₹1,000 processing fee. In the first 5 class days you get back the part for classes not yet held, less the same fee. After that there is no refund, but you can move once to a later batch within 12 months. If we cancel or move your batch and the new date does not suit you, you get a full refund. The full terms are on our refund and cancellation policy page.

What is included in the fee?

For the track: 180 supervised hours over 12 weeks, a personal lab you keep, two course assessments, CTF challenges in every course, six assessed reports, Hacking Trainer course certificates, resume, LinkedIn and mock-interview support, and 12 months of review access with free backup classes. The certificates are issued by Hacking Trainer and are not EC-Council certifications.

What are the batch times and batch size?

Weekday batches run Monday to Friday in four three-hour slots: 8:30 to 11:30 AM, 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, 2:30 to 5:30 PM and 5:30 to 8:30 PM IST. Weekend sessions (2:30 to 6 PM IST) are for practice, questions and backup classes. Batch size is 15 to 20 students, 1 to 2 new batches start every month, and you can attend in Ameerpet or live online.

Can I take a single course instead of the track?

Yes. Every course is 6 weeks and ₹20,000 + GST on its own: Application Security, Network and Active Directory (advanced) and SOC and DFIR. Freshers often start with SOC and DFIR, or take one course at a time.

Can you enroll me for an EC-Council certification?

Yes. BERRY9 IT SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, the parent company of Hacking Trainer Academy, has been an EC-Council Accredited Training Center (ATC) since 2015. We help students prepare for and enroll in EC-Council certifications such as CEH, CPENT, CND and CSA, and others on request. Each EC-Council certification fee includes one exam attempt. Fees and exam facts are on each certification page.

Do you offer CTF challenges and an internship?

Every student in every course gets CTF challenges to practice under time pressure. After completing their course, a few selected trained candidates are offered an unpaid internship of 3 to 6 months. It is by selection, so it is not part of enrollment, not guaranteed, and not a job offer.

Do you provide placement?

We do not provide job placement or placement assistance. What we give you is the skill, six graded reports you can show an employer, and interview preparation: resume and LinkedIn review and mock technical interviews. Applying for jobs is up to you, and the hiring decision belongs to the employer.

Do I need any background to join?

Basic computer literacy is enough for the program: it begins with networking and Linux, and weekend sessions are available for catch-up. The advanced EC-Council courses expect security or IT experience. A counselor can tell you where to start.

What laptop do I need?

A laptop with 16 GB RAM minimum. 32 GB is recommended to run the full multi-VM lab at home.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes. Each three-hour session is 90 minutes of live class and 90 minutes of supervised practice, and every course closes with a hands-on lab exam. You also keep your lab build guides and VM configurations.

Do I keep access after the course?

You get 12 months of review access: repeat any module in a later batch without an additional training fee, and use free backup classes if you miss a session.

How do I book free trial classes?

Call or WhatsApp +91 86868 92922, email info@hackingtrainer.com, or send the inquiry form. Admissions will tell you which running batch you can join.

Do you run corporate training?

Yes. We design tailored programs for organizations, including security awareness training for employees, with flexible delivery options.
