A network penetration tester is judged on one question: from a single foothold, how far can an attacker get? Answering it means enumeration, exploitation, privilege escalation, pivoting through segmented networks and, in almost every company, attacking Active Directory. This advanced course teaches all of it, in the order a real assessment runs.

You build a segmented lab with a multi-domain Active Directory forest, then work through reconnaissance with your own scripts, Nessus and configuration review, exploitation with Metasploit and by hand, password attacks with Hashcat, privilege escalation, pivoting with Chisel and Ligolo-ng, and forest attacks including Kerberoasting, NTLM relay, delegation abuse and AD CS with Certipy. It ends with a timed assessment of an unseen network and a report an administrator can act on.

Course Overview

90 guided hours over 6 weeks in eight modules: engagement management and an advanced lab, reconnaissance with scripting, vulnerability assessment, configuration review and wireless, exploitation and password attacks, privilege escalation and pivoting, Active Directory forest attacks including AD CS, and professional reporting. You learn in a hands-on lab environment with instructor guidance, in our Ameerpet classroom or live online.

Questions About Network and AD (Advanced)

Why is this course marked advanced?

It assumes you already know the Linux and Windows command line, networking and basic scripting, and goes deep: pivoting through segmented networks, lateral movement, delegation and AD CS attacks across a multi-domain forest. The Application Security course (weeks 1 to 6 of the track) is a good first step.

Which Active Directory attacks are covered?

Enumeration and BloodHound attack paths, Kerberoasting, AS-REP roasting, NTLM relay and coercion, ACL abuse with bloodyAD, unconstrained, constrained and resource-based delegation, AD CS attacks with Certipy, DCSync and attacks across forest trusts, with the hardening that stops each one.

How much of the course is Active Directory?

A 16-hour module, plus the pivoting and lateral-movement module and most of the 15-hour capstone, which is a full network and forest assessment.

Do you teach scripting and password attacks?

Yes. Module 2 has you write and adapt Bash, Python and PowerShell for enumeration, and module 4 covers password spraying within agreed limits and hash cracking with Hashcat rules and masks.

Is AI part of this course?

Yes. One module teaches AI-assisted testing and professional reporting: summarizing scan output, drafting commands and report sections, and checking every answer. You also learn what client data must never go into a public AI service.

Will I write a report?

Yes. You submit a network penetration test report and an Active Directory report with an attack-path diagram and a hardening plan, and defend them in a technical oral exam.

Are there CTF challenges in the Network and AD (Advanced) course?

Yes. Every student in every course gets CTF challenges on the month's topics, run in the lab, alongside the course assessment.

What credential do I receive?

You receive a Hacking Trainer course completion certificate. It is issued by Hacking Trainer and is not an EC-Council or other vendor certification.

How much does the Network and AD (Advanced) course cost?

₹20,000 + 18% GST (₹23,600 in total). Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy; an exam voucher cannot be refunded once we have bought it.

When does the Network and AD (Advanced) course start?

Each course runs its own batches. Network and AD (Advanced) is weeks 7 to 12 of the track (network and Active Directory, advanced), and you can join it on its own or as part of the track. The course lasts 6 weeks, 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday. Dates are on our upcoming batch schedule page.

Should I take this course or the full track?

Take this course if you want network and ad (advanced) on its own. Take the Offensive Security Track if you want the full penetration testing path: it adds Application Security for ₹30,000 + 18% GST (₹35,400 in total), against ₹40,000 + GST for the two courses bought separately.

Can I attend online?

Yes, in our Ameerpet classroom or live online. Confirm the mode of your batch when you inquire.
